Thanks! I felt like this Travis record had a chance to be as vital as Yeezus, considering the personal circumstances leading up to it. But I also don't think we'll ever see a rap album with just ten songs again in the streaming era. I think the brevity is a big part of what makes it special.
Well, that is fascinating. I've been chatting to my 20 year old son about Utopia. I thought it was good, he said it was boring and formulaic... I didn't know any of this about Travis Scott, so I can now see how right he was. Still quite like the music though! Great post.
