Being an old geezer, I can't wear t-shirts with old bands on, it just says "I like old music"! And I like new music! So my most worn are my clipping. tees... Occassionally slipping on the JJ Doom "Allo Guv'nor". My fave is my And Yet It Moves (r.i.p. Dale) bondage dog. Seems to get the most comments at gigs. Bet there's a stack of them under someone's bed somewhere.

I know exactly what you mean, don’t wanna be a dad walking around with a Beastie Boys shirt being like “now THAT was music!”

Inevitably, you will look like that with a contemporary band shirt though! Can’t escape it so I lean into it, especially when I’m wearing my Steely Dan shirt

I now have a stash of band shirts that I’ve bought over the years but that I’m not wearing these days - a Springsteen tour shirt from a show I saw in Jersey with my dad, a Replacements tour shirt with too many holes in it (Riotfest few years ago); and a Yeezus tour shirt that I love and still wear on occasions but which has been we’ll say challenging to wear regularly in recent years. It’s a dope shirt though.

I also have a Yeezus tour shirt! Just gotta ride the waves of Kanye fandom and one day it'll be time to wear it again

Also, re: that Prodigy shirt-

1. jealous af

2. I did the same last year and finally got an original Atari Teenage Riot shirt, and have absolutely zero regrets. It's an instant dopamine hit, 16 year old me does backflips every time I wear it.

I owned that green SY Dirty shirt from the time I bought it at a Buffalo Exchange in 1996 when I was like 14, until about 2012 when it finally gave up the ghost and practically turned to dust. That was $9 well spent!

I have a Feist shirt that was briefly shirt-famous when Sarah Harmer wore it in a video. It's designed by Shary Boyle. And mine is one of a kind - it was mistakenly double-printed. Probably why I got it for free, and makes it look even cooler IMO.

For me, almost 90% of the band shirts I have I bought at the band's merch table after skanking around the pit at their show. I usually switch to the new one since the previous one is soaked in sweat. I love my band shirts, I usually go to local shows and touring bands so it's a way for me to not only support artists, but to help advertise for them. Some of my favorite band Ts I have are from Toots and the Maytals, I bought it at his show in 2019 when he toured with the wailers just a year before the legend himself passed away, The Slackers 20th anniversary for 'Red Light' shirt, and a Kemuri shirt I bought when I saw them live in korayama, Japan. I also bought a bad ass flat brimmed kemuri hat at that show that some how one of my kids lost...

I like that you list the type of shirt your merch is printed on in the listing. Picking up shirts whether online or at shows, I have experienced such a wide range. I have bought a few in the last few years that are stretchy, narrow, and long. Not great! For me a regular Gildan or Comfort Colors regular fit is the best by leaps and bounds.

I recently picked up the white long sleeve OBGMs shirt (about a third of the way down their page here: https://theobgms.com/) which I really love. When I picked it up, I was happy to see that Cut Loose Merch had opened a Canadian web store. For so long around Toronto it felt like if you weren't able to be at an artist or band's show, you ended up paying in USD and for shipping from the US to pick up a shirt (or LP, or whatever else).
