This weekend in Toronto, I’ll be playing on August 26th and 27th at Lithuanian House for Wavelength Summer Thing. I was asked to curate the upstairs stage on both nights so I’ve invited some groundbreaking artists from Montreal and Toronto to join me:

Ouri - Montreal-based experimental electronic musician and cellist who is shortlisted for the 2022 Polaris Music Prize

James Baley - one of the most talented musicians I’ve met in Toronto, James Baley’s music combines elements of ballroom, R&B, house and gospel

Magi Merlin - a rising star from Montreal, Magi makes an unclassifiable, futuristic mix of rap and R&B

Prince Innocence - one of the coolest groups in Toronto, Prince Josh and Talvi revisit ‘90s electronic sounds with a contemporary edge

Jayemkayem and Freeza Chin - two close friends of mine and my favourite DJs in Toronto! Jayem has been my tour DJ this summer for all the festivals and Freeza mixed my 2018 self-titled album. They’ll be closing out Saturday night with a bang

I’ve started thinking of this event as an alternative version of OVO Fest. On Friday, Backxwash is also playing and curating the downstairs stage so it’s gonna be a night you won’t wanna miss. I’ve also made some limited edition shirts for the occasion and will have copies of my book on hand as well.
