LOVE this new track and lookin' fine throughout! As I get older, I find fashion plays a different role for me. I'm certainly paying a different kind of attention to it.
I'm the same way. I honestly only started feeling solid about my own personal style over the last few years, even if what I wear is less flashy and more utilitarian to go with the nature of my life. Maybe it's all part of getting older?
I feel like when I was younger, my fashion statements (and I went from all-out to very button-down at different points) it was about trying to gain membership and entry to certain spaces. Now, I find it's more about presenting a certain flair that is signature to me within whatever space I enter. It's more centring. Sounds like we may have a whole other interview topic!
such a fire sounding track! The beat has such a forward driving groove, with the chord progression never quite resolving. Makes me wanna get up and put on my dancing shoes!
also so cool to see you collab with DijahSB! I love the way the tones of your voices mix and contrast.
the first track of yours I ever heard was Afterparty Babies and to this day I still add it to my playlists. I feel like this new track is a great companion to that older one
Really great track! I watched the video before reading the blog post and fully picked up on the OutKast "so fresh and so clean" homage. And, my immediate reaction was that I could completely groove to this while getting ready for a night out (I could use one of those soon). Mission accomplished!
I just heard it on CBC it’s a rocking
Nice! Glad to hear it

Wait until you hear the rest of the album! Fashion is a big part of it.
