I’m hitting the decks this Saturday in Toronto with my homie DO NOT PUSH! at Bambi’s (1265 Dundas St W). DNP actually DJed my wedding years ago and he absolutely tore the house down. We’re going to play some of our favourite newly acquired vinyl records. I’m hoping to bring some Charcuterie Music / Quarantunes energy to the evening. I hope to see you there.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all because this newsletter just passed the 2,000 subscriber mark! When I started this thing four years ago as one of several projects to keep my mind moving during the early pandemic, I simply longed for an outlet where I could reach people directly. This newsletter has become so much more than that.
I’ve been amazed by the community that has formed around these posts. People have come up to me at shows, during DJ sets and randomly in public to tell me how much they’ve resonated with the things that I’ve decided to write here. I’m always amazed when something that I said here somehow makes it onto a real publication or gets mentioned in the real world.
Since I started the newsletter, Instagram has become increasingly unreliable and buggy. Twitter is now overrun with bots, a toxic wasteland of engagement bait made in its owner’s image. There’s no perfect platform but I want to say that I’m proud of what we’re developing here.
